An Idea That Is Revolutionizing CCTV Video Technology

When MOBOTIX developed the first weatherproof web cam with digital image sensors and an integrated PC back in 1999, no one could ever have imagined the impact this would have on the future of video surveillance. The transmission of video streams over computer networks finally enabled video technology to depart from the restrictions of a TV standard which had applied for 60 years, bringing it in line with the megapixel image quality of modern-day digital cameras. MOBOTIX is the only network camera manufacturer to date that is capable of storing smooth high-resolution video streams with 1536 lines instead of the usual 288, including sound. High Resolution Shows More Detail And Reduces Costs

The primary benefit of using high-resolution cameras is that the stored images are more revealing and provide stronger evidence than other formats. MOBOTIX cameras record approximately 30 times more detail than 95% of all existing video systems worldwide. In virtually all applications, one MOBOTIX camera can replace several standard CCTV systems because MOBOTIX technology offers four times more coverage. For example, at the World Cup soccer stadium in Kaiserslautern, a single MOBOTIX camera monitors four turnstiles at the same time. Even an entire room can be monitored with one 90° wide-angle lens camera positioned in a corner of a room. The high-detail resolution not only means fewer cameras, but it also reduces the amount of cabling, backup-power requirement and storage systems, thus minimizing the overall costs of the system substantially.

DualDome D15

One camera, two lenses. Seeing more is just not possible.

Two lenses, two HiRes image sensors, up to 64 GB internal storage and a dual image of maximum 6 megapixels make the D15D DualDome an efficient security solution: You can secure two different areas with just one camera, for example. All without vulnerable mechanical components!

Easier mounting system:

The DNight versions of the D15 feature enormous processing power as well as excellent true-color images during the day and extremely sensitive night images in dark environments. Now also the mounting is easier and more secure than ever before. The day and night lenses are already pre-installed at the MOBOTIX factory on a special DNight lens bridge, which ensures that they are positioned exactly parallel to one another. This way, the day lens always covers the identical area of the night lens – without the need to make millimeter-accurate adjustments or run the risk of accidentally changing the position of the lens.

Better image quality:

MOBOTIX software engineers set new quality standards again with regard to image quality and lens distortion correction with the D15D-180°, which provides both fascinating and highly-detailed 180° panorama images of up to 6 megapixels.

Increased security:

The D15D is the first MOBOTIX camera with a shock detector (for all IT and Secure models) as a standard feature. For example, if the camera receives a blow to the housing, it can simultaneously take a video of the offender, trigger a sound alarm and notify the security company by a call. By the way, MOBOTIX cameras are extremely tough, not only because they have no mechanical moving parts, but they remain fully operational even if they are subject to strong vibrations.

Modular System Setup

The M15 camera platform consists of three main components:

• Housing with integrated camera electronics, flash memory, external ports (Ethernet, MxBus, MiniUSB) and pre-installed VarioFlex mount for wall or ceiling mounting
• Front element to hold one or two sensor modules, with microphone, speaker, passive infrared sensor (PIR), outside temperature sensor and status LEDs
• One or two sensor modules with lens, image sensor, microphone and status LEDs

Flexmount S15

Discreet. Flexible. Hemispheric.

The S15 allows you to attach up to two lens units with integrated microphones using a two-meter long connector cable to the camera housing. Two horizontally or vertically adjacent rooms can be completely recorded with just one camera.

Ultra flexible camera system from MOBOTIX

The HiRes S15 FlexMount is a universally deployable and easily concealable camera system with a powerful micro processor being able to transmit and record two sensor images simultaneously – with a highly detailed resolution of up to 2 x 3 megapixels.

Dual camera S15D: World’s first double hemispheric camera

The S15D features two hemispheric sensor modules, each with a horizontal viewing angle of 180°. This way, two entirely separate spaces – next to or on top of each other, indoors or outdoors – can be monitored simultaneously using just one camera. With a black-and-white sensor, the S15D can also be used as hemispheric day-and-night camera.

Mono camera S15M: Hemispheric camera for concealed installation

The S15M features a permanently-attached hemispheric sensor module (day or night). The housing can be concealed behind a cover or cladding (e.g. stainless steel) of up to 6.4 mm/0.25 in in thickness.

Flexible mounting

In case of the S15D, two ultra-compact sensor modules are connected with the housing via two sensor cables, each up to 2 m/6.6 ft long.

Inconspicuous and elegant

The flat housing, including long-term flash memory and external connectors (Ethernet, MiniUSB, MxBus), can be installed discreetly and with optimal protection behind a wall or ceiling. Ideal for hotels, restaurants, office buildings, shops; but also for installation in devices like ATMs.

Weatherproof and energy-saving (PoE standard)

The entire system is weatherproof (IP65), operates in a temperature range of –30°C to +60°C (–22°F to +140°F) and can be operated all year round with power supplied via a standard PoE network cable. Power consumption is less than 5 watts.

Hemispheric Q25

An elegant, ultra compact and weatherproof IP dome camera. Thanks to the 360° allround view to capture an entire room, a panorama function and a quad view to show images from four different angles simultaneously, the Q25 can be used in all new scenarios.

The Hemispheric Camera

The primary components of the hemispheric camera include a fisheye lens, a high-resolution
image sensor and image correction software that is integrated into the camera.
Using an ultra-wide angle fisheye lens, the camera captures a 180° hemispheric image
of the room and projects it onto a high-resolution image sensor.

When ceiling mounted, the image area of the hemispheric camera covers the entire room.
The image in the hemisphere is convex, particularly near the image borders. These image
sections are corrected for the viewer by the integrated distortion correction software,
allowing a view of the scene from the usual perspective. The virtual PTZ feature allows
you to enlarge or move image sections within the hemisphere, just like a PTZ camera yet,
with MOBOTIX, this is achieved with no moving parts.

Handle Several Image Sections At Once

One or more image sections can be corrected for perspective in the hemispheric view,
allowing you to monitor and record several diff erent areas of a room at the same
time, something that a mechanical PTZ camera is not capable of doing.

Discreet And Low Maintenance

Hemispheric cameras are extremely discreet because they manage their
task with only one lens, which is generally focused on the entire room and
not a specific object. MOBOTIX hemispheric cameras are without mechanical
moving parts and require low maintenance. In addition, they are silent when
panning and focusing on a specific image area.

Less Cameras Thanks To Panoramic Views

The perspective of the hemispheric image can also be transformed into an ultra-wide angle panoramic view spanning 180° if the camera is mounted on a wall, providing a wall-to-wall view of the room without any blind spots. It offers a substantially better view of the scene, compared to other cameras, it also results in the need for fewer cameras overall. When ceiling mounted, one camera can also capture an entire room by two opposite panoramic views.

Keeping Objects In View At All Times

Using solutions featuring several individual cameras, moving objects will normally jump from one viewing area of a camera to another. This often produces a confusing situation for the viewer because objects may disappear from sight for a moment or even appear twice if the viewing areas overlap. This is not the case with hemispheric panoramic cameras. Objects remain in view at all times and the viewer can always keep good track of objects in the scene.

Virtual PTZ (vPTZ) – No Motor Required

The Q24M can zoom in on detail as well. These vPTZ functions are a standard feature in the integrated Q25M camera software. The image from the hemispheric camera can be enlarged using e.g. the mouse wheel, a joystick or a software-controlled PTZ panel, and you can “move“ the view to any section of the image. This provides the features of a mechanical PTZ camera without the disadvantages of maintenance and wear.

Internal DVR

The Q25M SECURE model features direct recording to integrated MicroSD cards, which makes the camera fully independent of any external storage media, even for longer periods of time. The camera internally saves high-resolution video and audio, without requiring an external storage device or PC or overloading the network whatsoever

IP Video Door Station T25

Better Overview, Increased Security, More Possibilities

The new T25 IP Video Door Station from MOBOTIX offers a modern, powerful solution that is easy to install and that has never been available to the market until now. With the IP Video Door Station, MOBOTIX is introducing a new product line in the area of door communication and access control that supports the VoIP/SIP video telephone standard. The T25 records all events outside the house door with sound; automatically when the doorbell is pushed, with movement in the image or upon triggering a contact.

Two-way video around the world

The T25 is based on the international video telephony standard VoIP/SIP. When the doorbell rings, a connection is established with an IP video phone or a standard computer via the network. This means that, from anywhere in the world, you can conduct video conversations with visitors at your door or open the door remotely.

Allround view with no blind spots

The high-resolution hemispheric door camera can capture the entire entrance area with no blind spots, from wall to wall and from floor to ceiling.

Recording with sound

The T24 will also inform the homeowner about who came to the door while they were away. This is possible because the camera also records automatically. Continuously or event-controlled, when, for example, someone rings the doorbell or the camera detects movement.

Keyless access

Who is authorized into the building and when? The door opener can be controlled, simply and securely, via a PIN code or an RFID transponder using the individually configurable access module.

Integrated message function

Digital voice messages can be left directly at the door station and played back automatically. This means that a courier or mail carrier can leave a message to the customer about where the delivery was brought to in their absence.

Very simple installation

The station can be connected and supplied with power via an Ethernet cable or, thanks to Mx2wire technology, simply via a bell wire. The T25 can therefore be easily upgraded at very little cost. The weatherproof outdoor station (IP65) is available in different attractive colors. In addition, MOBOTIX is offering an upgrade version for the Vario system from Siedle.
